Cervical Cancer Screening and Vaccination: Profiling Determining Factors Influencing Uptake among Health Workers in Abuja, Nigeria

Cervical Cancer (CC) remains one of the leading causes death among reproductive-age females globally. Screening and vaccination CC are still low females, hence increase in toll from disease. This study investigated factors influencing uptake cervical cancer screening female workers at selected hospitals Abuja, Nigeria. Using a descriptive quantitative design, self-administered questionnaires were used to gather data total 160 participants. The validity reliability instrument ensured with Cronbach Alpha coefficient 0.899. collected analysed using inferential statistics p <0.05 significance level Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 24.0. Good knowledge poor attitudes about documented this study. As reported study, identified include cost vaccination, availability service, economic status individual, education. There was no significant relationship between participants (p=0.178). Our suggests that did not translate into Other responsible. Therefore, multi-dimensional approaches toward addressing limiting should be encouraged. Making facilities available subsidised rate may encourage increased uptake.
